On 22nd April Fashion Targets Breast Cancer hits the stores for its 17th year. This time it’s bigger and better than ever with even more celeb names getting involved.
The UK’s leading charity fashion campaign has teamed up with 8 high street powerhouses – M&S, Debenhams, Laura Ashley, Coast, Mywardrobe.com, Warehouse, River Island, and Topshop. Each store has created an exclusive capsule collection, featuring the iconic target logo, this time it’s been given an Indian summer vibe, with a tie-dye effect…perfect for festival season and holiday must haves.
Each collection is based around our Great British seasons, what are those…isn’t it permanently winter? But there is Day or Night, perfect for taking you into those longer days and warm summer nights. Home or Away, packed full of summer brights and Rain or Shine, using layers for our typical British weather!
There is something for everyone as well as every budget. Exclusive items include a Velvet Johnstone silk dress, a personal fav but it’s a little pricey at £750, yikes. More purse friendly pieces are Marks & Spencer’s fab swimwear range, which features the tie-dye target design, starting at £12. There’s also the target bracelet, available at all stores for just £2.
The 2013 campaign is about the unity between mother and daughter and ladies are encouraged to ‘Wear Your Support’. Each year, in the UK alone, 50,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer. With a 30% donation from every piece sold going to Fashion Targets Breast Cancer it’s time to unite and Wear Your Support. We know we will. Here come the girls!
