Missed out on Chelsea Flower Show this year? Then fear not as Farmopolis is the next best thing. Located on the Jetty at Greenwich Peninsula the floating venue come oasis has adopted all the left over flowers and plants from this year’s Chelsea Flower Show. Described as ‘The Great Plant Rescue’ they are essentially rescuing the thousands of plants which would have otherwise been binned. This comes as part of London’s largest regeneration project happening at Greenwich and will bring a botanical paradise to the Thames.
To celebrate the ‘rehoming’ Secret Productions are working on ‘Farmopolis’ which is set to open on 30th July and will host a summer of exciting events. These are the guys that co-created Wildnerness festival and will be behind the live music, theatre workshops, food and chef pop-ups that will be on site, so you can expect great things. So if you want to escape the concrete jungle for a day in paradise then head to Farmopolis this summer.
