Farley Macallan

Sat on the corner of Morning Lane and Ponsford Street, you’ll find Farley Macallan, a restaurant and wine bar sitting on the old site of FIX. With an aim to ‘reinvent the local’, the new Hackney hotspot serves up a whole host of organic and biodynamic wines, while E5 Smokehouse, the artisan guerrilla smokery takes care of the food. With small plates at the heart of the menu, you can expect dishes to include cauliflower fritters with curried yoghurt & cucumber, scallops with quinoa & pea puree and aloe vera panna cotta with toasted marshmallows. Focussing on local produce, expect to find cured meats from Cobble Lane, cheese from Raw Cheese Powder on Chatsworth Road and beer from Mare Street’s very own Five Points Brewery.

From the food to the art on the walls, Farley Macallan is all about the local and a welcome addition to the neighbourhood.
