Starting out as a comic which was both written and then illustrated by Nobuyuki Fukumoto Kaiji is probably better known today as an anime series and hit live-action movie franchise even though it has been in publication since 1996.
Remember Akagi? Well this story revolves around Kaiji and how he came to get into such a deal with the Yakuza which was to gamble his way to freedom. This stunning plot is a must-see, the project in itself is amazing and the movie does not disappoint
Legendary Gambler Tetsuya
Finally, we are going to look at this massively popular anime movie series which was first broadcasted across the globe in 2000. The storyline centres about Tetsuya who defeats his opponents winning a great amount of money whilst the rest of Japan finds itself struggling in the wake of a war.
When Tetsuya is finally defeated by Boushu-san he goes on to realize how little he actually knows about the wide world of gambling, giving everything he has to get back to being at the very top of his game.
