We
headed along to the new Thai Square Spa in Covent Garden for one of the best facials we’ve ever had. The spa is located in the same building as a food court which was a bit strange but downstairs is absolute luxury. There are seven treatment rooms in total; a steam room which after 20 minutes releases tropical rain, a massage room, a pedicure room, five rooms which have free standing gold baths and a separate changing area. Slippers, a robe, cotton top and fisherman pants are supplied.
The facial started with a foot soak in tea leaves, this was new to us but we went with it, enjoying the feet and calf massage. Once the foot soak is over it’s on to the treatment bed for a full 60 minutes of heaven. There were plenty of massages – shoulders, neck, hands and arms followed by scrubs, wipes and a mask. It was actually the first time we have fallen asleep during a facial.
The products made from the pollen of seven Thai flowers are free from clinical nasties. We had the Traditional Thai Facial which uses Thai herbal compress to purify and nourish the skin.
We left the spa, skin glowing and fully relaxed. Would we recommended it? Hell yes, didn’t we already so it was probably the best facial we’ve had. At £85 it’s not cheap but it’s worth it. Plus if you book in December you get 50% off any treatments. Take note boys if our boyfriends bought us this we’d be very happy ladies!
