London’s certainly not short of pizza joints, with places serving up everything from authentic Neapolitan pizzas to NYC-style slices to square Detroit pies across the city. Now a new kid on the block is arriving to shake things up, as F.K.A.B.A.M is teaming with up with TABASCO to open a pizza pop-up with OTT topping combos you won’t find anywhere else.
Lee Tiernan has form when it comes to flatbreads – the squid ink one with smoked cod’s roe and egg yolk is one of his signature creations – but for one day only he’ll be swapping the bread for Gozney pizza dough to cook up three different F.K.A.B.A.M x TABASCO pies. You’ll be able to get your hands on a slice of each of the below:
- MAPO MARGHERITA – mapo tofu, coriander, truffle oil, crispy onions, pickled red onion, truffled enoki mushrooms & TABASCO Sriracha Sauce
- F.K.A.B.A.M. HAWAIIAN – pulled pig’s head & fennel seed, smoked pork jowl, pineapple, charred pickled chilli, dill pickled cucumber & TABASCO Sweet & Spicy Sauce
- COCKTAIL HOUR – prawn cocktail pizza with all the trimmings & TABASCO Original Red Sauce
