With
the sun finally setting on the last of this years festivals, The Stones ending their world tour in Hyde Park, Jay-Z and J-T killing it at wireless not to mention Kasabian at Hard Rock Calling. London is missing that feel good factor when it comes to the weekend festival, and the sun is finally out in full boom! Fear not…Fields Manuevers is your chance to end the summer on a high. With a capacity of just 500 people (and we hear it’s almost sold out!!) The first ever Field Manuevers starts on Friday 30th August, until the Sunday 1st September, a perfect finale to a real summer. With a secret location, 60 minutes North-West of London and a massive line up of electronic acts, including headliners TEED and Oneman, this is sure to be a sweet summer party.
Field Manuevers has a simple ethos – Keeping it intimate, 500 people – 3 nights – 1 field. They plan to offer the most unique outdoor party amongst your friends. With tickets starting at just £55, a snip of the price compared to most London festivals, get your friends together and have the best summer weekend of 2013.
This baby festival has the potential to grow into a serious bad boy if Field Manuevers stands by its ethos. It’s run by a small group with a shared love of underground party music. They have selected some treed and tested names of major party starters, as well as picking out the best raw talent from the house and techno scene. But with a 24 hour license, there’s definitely going to be some killer 80s, funk, boogie, soul, rap and R’n’B blasting out until crazy A.M.
Fields Manuevers, and here’s the best bit…will be stocking a serious bar, at normal pub prices!! What’s that? With festival pints pushing nearly £6 in some cases, this is a serious treat.
End your summer on a music high, and give the first ever Field Manuevers a try. This could be London’s best kept secret. Well…it was until now. Sorry guys!
