Reinstall’ is the lead track from Montage Populaire’s debut EP ‘Not All Bombs Explode’ released 19th March through Popular Recordings and is quite simply brilliant. The epic vocal chants of ‘Reject Reinstall’ make this sounds as if MGMT have crashed into Arcade Fire. The Southampton 5-piece take on experimental pop psychedelia and prog creating an upbeat infectious sound that comes across as something very raw, exciting, something very unique….sexciting if you will. Closing track ‘Cage the Thought’ is another prime example of the infectious qualities they have for making pop music. A psychedelic swirl of indie pop is just what we like.
