EP
RELEASED 2ND DECEMBER 2014

American independent record label, Ghostly International signed Brooklyn boys, Beacon, who release a new EP this coming December, with its lead track ‘Fault Lines’ premiering via Fader recently.

The EP features synth beats with layered over R&B aesthetics which take the EP into the realms of IDM (if you’re one too pigeon hole that is). Beacon have described the influences behind their music as Warp Record’s whole back catalogue and there is definitely an Aphex tone to their style.

Producer Jacob Gossett, one half of the duo alongside Thomas Mullarney III, the silky vocalist of the pair, has said their music has entered a new phase in Beacon’s evolution. Having also just remixed Tycho’s See, the artists / musician’s portfolio of quality music is subtly refining itself.
