Ochre at The National Gallery has launched a new cocktail menu featuring tequila and inspired by the exhibition of José María Velasco. This exciting new menu combines the beauty of Velasco’s Mexican landscapes with seasonal British ingredients, with cocktails like Goatheard of San Ángel (tequila, English strawberry, verjus, Campari, Cocchi rosa, grapefruit oils and sea herbs), Cardón (blanco tequila, Yorkshire rhubarb, soda and samphire) and The Forest of Pacho (blanco tequila, elderflower, lime, cucumber, jalapeño and fennel flower).
In addition to the exclusive serves, there’s a selection of bar snacks available, including sourdough with whipped butter, oysters served with a spicy shallot sauce, and mac and cheese croquettes. Name a better combo than drinks and a show, we’ll wait.
