EMPANADERIA DE NADAS TO OPEN IN PORTOBELLO

A slice of BA is coming to London as the city’s first empanaderia specialising in Argentinian hand-shaped empanadas is opening in Portobello this July. DE NADAS will serve up 15 different-shaped empanadas made using 100% vegan dough that are baked rather than fried, with fillings including beef, olives, peppers & egg; ham & cheese; spicy lamb; caramelised Malbec onions & cheese; butternut squash & kale; mozzarella, basil & cherry tomatoes; blue cheese & pear; and cheese, coriander & aji molido.

You’ll be able to buy the empanadas individually or in boxes of six, nine and 12, and you get a weekday lunch box, which includes three empanadas and salad. DE NADAS isn’t stopping at the pastries though, it’ll also serve artisanal coffee and sell a range of Argentinian produce such as Black Label grass-fed beef, homemade chimichurri and chimimayo, yerba matte, and alfajores. They’re even putting a vinyl wine room in the place, which’ll be filled with London’s largest selection of Malbecs and vermouths, to host wine and empanada tastings, so it really is gonna be a one-stop-shop for all things Argentinian.
