A new brunch spot is coming to South London as Elsewhere (the small-batch coffee roastery based in Deptford) is opening their second site in Brockley later this month. Opening in Crofton Park, the new spot will focus heavily on coffee (since that’s what Elsewhere is all about), as well as feature a new brunch menu overseen by Adam Andrews (ex-Farm Girl).
You can expect the likes of gochujang ragu, fior di latte, kimchi, Asian salsa verde and poached eggs; avocado toast pimped with orange zest, grape molasses and whipped feta; and soy-marinated king oyster mushrooms on toast with miso cream, truffle and dill. At weekends, they’ll be spinning their Eggs Benedict three different ways: topped with heritage tomatoes, Korean pulled braised beef short rib or smoked salmon. And alongside that lot, there’ll also be the signature sarnies, pastries and brekkie buns to takeaway too. The best bit? To celebrate the opening on 18th June, they’ll also be giving away £1 coffees all week long!
