like us you were gutted when Mayfields closed down then you might be interested in this news. The previous head chef Matthew Young has joined forces with Sommelier Jack Lewens, to open Ellory a new bistro just up the road from Mayfields at Netil House. Opening at the end of November the menu will feature small dishes as well as a daily set menu topped off with perfectly matched wines. Expect the likes of turbot, chestnuts and pumpkin and chicken, chicory and carrot to feature on their opening menu. With a relaxed feel and some of the best vino in town, we’re pretty damn sure Ellory is not gonna dissapoint.
