Restaurateur Ellen Chew, who has Rasa Sayang, Arome Bakery and Lobos Tapas on her books, is adding another restaurant to her collection by bringing Shan Shui to the capital. First opened in Bicester Village in 2018, Shan Shui serves a range of Chinese and South East Asian dishes like chicken & prawn sui mai, xiao long bao, Canton vegetable fried noodles, wasabi prawns, gyoza, nasi goreng, pan fried seabass with Thai-style chilli sauce, and wok fried ginger beef.
The London branch of Shan Shui is opening on Buckingham Palace Road in Victoria, which is becoming a little hive of activity with Gail’s Bakery and Neat Burger also opening on the same stretch soon.
