Elizabeth Haigh at Mortimer House

There’s just a few more weeks to catch Elizabeth’s Haigh’s residency at Mortimer House. The chef, who left Pidgin after winning a Michelin star there, has been developing her own restaurant concept so this gives a great taste of what we can expect in the future.

Drawing inspiration from her British and Singaporean heritage, as well as her home of London, Elizabeth’s a la carte menu, exclusively created for the residency at Mortimer House, featurea dishes such as Ox Cheek Rendang buns with fermented sambal; Udon Vongole with pickled wild garlic; Barbecue aged beef with black sesame béarnaise; Fried carrot cake with sambal belachan chilli; and Miso and kaya “toast” caramel ice-cream. 

There’s an a la carte menu plus a £45 set menu and it’s all available Thursday – Saturday evenings. You can book for dates until the end of June by emailing: guestchef@mortimerhouse.com
