Move over board games and Zoom quizzes because there’s a new type of competitive fun in town and it’s perfect for your social bubbles. Electric Playbox, a new immersive gaming experience now open in Southwark, features four virtual adventures designed using projection mapping, touch screens and motion tracking. Instead of VR units, all participants have to wear is a visor equipped with a sensor so you’ll be able to see each other and share the screen as you play. The games include a mission to mars and an alien adventure set in 1984, with players working together to complete the challenges.
Electric Playbox has also been made fully COVID19 secure, with staggered start times, separate entries and exits, and full cleaning of each playbox between sessions.
