EBURY BY FAT MACY’S OPENS IN PIMLICO

Fat Macy’s, the social enterprise that helps young Londoners go from hostels to their own homes through food and one of our LOTI Heroes, has opened is first restaurant and deli in Pimlico. The new spot is part of the Ebury Edge development, a parade of pop-up shops and office spaces with affordable rents for start-up businesses.

By hosting supper clubs and catering events and running food deliveries, Fat Macy’s train participants in cookery skills, front of house service, food hygiene and financial planning whilst allowing them to save for their future. The restaurant and deli, which first opened for takeaways earlier this year when lockdown restrictions were still in place, allows the enterprise to expand its training scheme. And now it’s fully open for dine-in service with a Middle-Eastern inspired menu featuring the likes of aubergine maghmour, scallops with arak, labneh & chilli butter, lamb chops with anchovy butter, halloumi fries, and Lebanese pizza, so head down there for food if you’re in the Pimlico area.
