Things are hotting up in Leytonstone. Yard Sale Pizza have just opened their new shop there and Eat17 will follow suit shortly, opening just a stone’s throw away on Leytonstone’s High Road. They’ve got a beautiful art deco building that was originally built in 1936 but is in need of some TLC, which is currently well underway, and they’re due to open in July.
As with their other shops there’ll be a mix of everyday items sourced through their partnership with Spar, which is then supplemented with lots of products from small independent producers, including their very own award-winning bacon jam. In addition there’ll be three street food stalls (although what these will offer remains to be seen) plus a cafe and bar area. They’ll likely be some other surprises too, as each Eat17 tends to have its own identity and offering so we’re excited to see what other treats they’ve got in store for Leytonstoners.
