giants Eastpak have landed in Shoreditch for a very futuristic pop-up on Commercial Street. #madeforlondon is the urban brands ‘future thinking retail and social experience’. The modern wooden cabin of sorts is packed with new technology which invites the customer to touch the ‘product tables’ and browse through the new SS15 collection. The quality of visual is insanely lifelike and almost feels as if flicking through a catalogue.

To launch the pop-up Eastpak has teamed up with a series of inspiring designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Manolo Blahnik and Christopher Shannon to create exclusive versions of the classic backpacks. They’re also working closely with local artists such as Richard Fairhead, who illustrated with stores inner ‘tunnel’, which will constantly evolve during the brands residency.

Massimo Ferrucci, Vice President of Eastpak says, “We are so excited to be delivering this new concept pop-up store to London, the real centre of Europe for all things forward-thinking. It offers us the opportunity to tell our brand heritage story in a new and innovative way.”

Shopping is no longer about buying clothes, it’s about retail theatre. We want more and we’re getting it. The Eastpak Artist Studio will see three locals changeling to customise a classic Eastpak Padded Pak’r bag live in store. Customers are given the chance to win the bags with all proceeds going to a local Aids charity. Head in to Eastpak #madeforlondon for a one of a kind shopping experience before it’s gone.
