Donutelier’s Easter Doughnuts
One of the city’s fave doughnut spots right now, Donutelier, has released some limited-time treats just in time for Easter. There are three new specials: Gianduja Chocolate Eggs (milk chantilly & praline, chocolate hazelnuts crust, a chocolate ganache nest and gianduja flakes), Springtime Pistachio (chantilly cream & pistachio varigato, a pistachio ganache nest & chocolate eggs) and Easter Vanilla Dreams (fleur de sel ganache, white chocolate hazelnuts crust, a vanilla cream nest, salted caramel & gianduja flakes). Each comes delicately assembled and topped with gold flakes – this is defo one for lovers of luxury.

Le Swine’s Hot Cross Bacon Buns
Le Swine has teamed up with pastry chef Nicola Lamb once again for another limited-edition Hot Cross Bacon Buns box. It contains Le Swine’s signature middle bacon and bacon butter, along with date, fennel & chilli ketchup and Nicola’s hot cross buns for the ultimate sweet ‘n’ savoury Easter treat.
Old Chang Kee x The Rangoon Sisters’ Mutton Curry Puff
Curry puff aficionados Old Chang Kee have teamed up with NHS doctors and Burmese supper clubbers The Rangoon Sisters to make the ultimate, savoury Easter special. The collab puff is a take on the sisters’ mutton puff from their cookbook but reimagined with signature OCK spices and a boiled egg – savoury pastry fans won’t wanna miss this one.

Crosstown’s Hot Cross Bun Doughnut
Award-winning doughnut joint Crosstown are welcoming back their Easter special, the Hot Cross Bun doughnut – and this year, it’s completely vegan. The limited-edition special is made with Easter spiced dough, filled with cinnamon custard, with Seville orange glaze and topped off with a spiced cross and candied orange peel. You can pop into your local Crosstown to grab an individual doughnut, or indulge in a six or twelve pack. Why not? It is Easter after all.

Mr Lyan’s Creme Egg & Chips
In a nod to the 80s campaign, ‘How do you eat yours?’, Mr Lyan is introducing a pretty odd special to the Seed Library menu this Easter. For a fiver, you can eat yours in a brand new way – as a sort of egg and soldiers, but with French fries and a warm crème egg. And if that doesn’t satisfy your crème egg craving, you can pair it with a Ramos made with vodka, Empirical Symphony 6, crème de egg, lemon and cream.

Tony’s Chocolonely x Big Mamma’s Eggs-rated Easter Chocolate Mousse
Big Mamma do like to go big when it comes to desserts, so of course they wouldn’t miss out on a chance to create something egg-stra chocolatey for Easter. Gelupo is teaming up with Jolene for the ultimate ice cream – hot cross bun crossover this Easter. Taking inspo from the Sicilian breakfast ‘brioche con gelato’, the Soho gelateria will be filling Jolene’s famous buns (made with Wildfarmed flour) with your choice of Gelupo flavours, including the seasonal blood orange sorbet and stem ginger gelato. Ole & Steen’s Chicken Little Marshmallow Whips
As well as their hot cross buns, Ole & Steen are bringing back another Easter fave this year: their Chicken Little whips. For a bonus treat, each Ole & Steen location will be hiding two fluffy chick toys in the local area during the Easter holidays (from 3rd – 10th April) and kids who find them can redeem the chicks in-store for a FREE Chicken Little whip, made with marzipan, marshmallow, passion fruit ganache, white chocolate and yellow coconut, and a drink of their choice.

Bun House’s Easter Chick Buns
Bun House has a fun bun for every occasion, and looks like Easter 2023 will be no different. This year, they’ve gone for Easter chick buns – soft buns decorated to look like little chickens, filled with coconut kaya custard (a sweet Malaysian jam made with coconut and caramel). They’ll be available to eat in or take away at their Soho site, but if you can’t pop into Bun House in Soho to grab one of these before the end of the season, you can also order them online to steam at home.

Kyrö Distillery Company x Umbrella Project’s Kyrö Bueno
Finnish rye spirits brand Kyrö Distiller Company has teamed up with the Umbrella Project and Lily Vanilli to create the ultimate milk and cookies pairing. The Kyrö Bueno is a grown up milk punch, made using Kyrö Dairy Cream, hazelnut eau de vie, VSOP Cognac and Swiss chocolate liqueur, with Lily’s star-shaped Dairy Cream cookies on the side. You can get the combo at the Umbrella Workshop or Discount Suit Company, or buy it as a set to have a home.
