Poppies’ Easter Hot Cross Butty
The classic chip butty is getting a Poppies makeover, as the fish & chips favourites are stuffing their famous triple-cooked chunky chips inside a sultana-spiced hot cross bun this Easter. This might be a polarising one, but one that hot cross bun fans won’t wanna miss.

Gelupo x Jolene’s Hot Cross Bun Ice Cream Sandwich
Gelupo is once again teaming up with Jolene for the ultimate ice cream-hot cross bun crossover this Easter. Taking inspo from the Sicilian breakfast ‘brioche con gelato’, the Soho gelateria will be filling Jolene’s famous buns (made with Wildfarmed flour) with your choice of Gelupo flavours, including the seasonal blood orange sorbet and stem ginger gelato. The team is also launching a tongue-in-cheek gelato ‘creme egg’ toasted buns where a warm brioche roll is filled with creamy egg yolk and mascarpone gelati and chocolate.

Ole & Steen’s Chicken Little Marshmallow Whips
As well as their hot cross buns, Ole & Steen is bringing back another Easter fave this year: their Chicken Little whips. These cute treats are made with marzipan, marshmallow, passion fruit ganache, white chocolate and yellow coconut. Plus, they’re also launching an Easter Social for one week only, which is a seasonal take on their Cinnamon Social (this time, it’s topped with chocolate eggs).

Crosstown’s Easter Doughnuts
Crosstown’s iconic Hot Cross Bun doughnut is making its grand return this Easter, but the doughnut slingers are also introducing a new flavour: Cherry & Orange. The original, which is vegan, is a spiced doughnut filled with cinnamon custard, topped with Seville orange glaze and finished with a spiced cross and candied orange peel. Meanwhile, the Cherry & Orange doughnut is made with a cinnamon and orange infused dough, a white chocolate and cherry ganache filling and completed with cherry-orange glaze and freeze-dried cherries.
