Fusion food is not an easy act to pull off even when the two separate dishes are perfect in their own right – like curry and pizza for example. Yet that’s exactly what’s coming to Tufnell Park with East West…. Italian-style pizzas with Indian flavours. Devinder Singh is the brains behind the operation, drawing inspiration from the dishes of his childhood to create these hybrid pizzas. There’s the Butter Chicken with semi dried tomatoes, truffled oyster mushrooms & fennel pesto; the Masala Jackfruit with black olive tapenade & grilled peppers; and the Saag Paneer with grilled artichoke & crispy onions.

You’ll also be able to get paneer bruschetta with roasted masala tomatoes, murgh kofta polpetta, and tandoori chicken arancini, as well as more traditional Indian desserts like gulab jamun parfait and gajar ka hawla.
