moons ago, New York noise popper and Dum Dum Girls founder Kristin Welchez (AKA Dee Dee Penny) fell in love with cult indie group Belle and Sebastian after hearing ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’ for the first time. Fastforward several years and Dee Dee is as commendable an indie icon as B&S thanks to a string of sensational shoegaze records and a host of musical collaborations with lo-fi legends such as Nick Zinner and Brandon Welchez. Not only that but she’s lent her pipes to the Scottish sextet’s ninth studio album and is touring with them in May as a Dum Dum Girl or in this case Really Smart And Accomplished Girl…Expect play with passion.

It is still cool to get into the winter wonderland vibes on this also…
