Duddell’s are opening in London and it’s gonna be their first restaurant outside Hong Kong. Opening in St Thomas’ Church in London Bridge, Duddell’s London will serve up authentic Cantonese cooking and handcrafted dim sum. Chef Daren Liew, who was previously Executive Sous Chef with the Hakkasan Group, will be heading up the kitchen and you can expect the menu to include Ying Yang Prawn with Citrus Dressing and Smoked Black Angus Ribs with Red Wine Soy & Baby Peach, alongside some of Duddell’s signature dishes including that Guandong Crispy Salted Chicken and 12 Hours XO Beef Shin with Sea Vegetables. When it comes to the drinks, you can expect an extensive wine list and a selection of cocktails with an oriental twist, and with interiors designed by Michaelis Boyd ( the guy behind Soho Farmhouse and Soho House Berlin), Duddell’s London is set to be pretty damn spesh.
