the River have released their second album ‘Alarms in the Heart’ on Transgressive Records, and it’s a belter to say the least.

The first track from the album to be unveiled, ‘Gethsemane’, uncovers the record’s spiritual side: “excavating down you’d find the drowning and the drowned / And then there’s us, babe.” That’s pretty deep stuff, eh.

Exciting news for you guys is the band have been announced to join the line up for Transgressive’s 10th anniversary concert at London Barbican on September 30th, for which there are still tickets left, so get going!
