Drummond Street, the road by Euston station that’s famous for its South Asian restaurants and is under threat from HS2 construction, is hosting a winter market with a bunch of free activities on offer. There’ll be free samosas on offer and performances from fire artists, singers and dancers alongside free henna, Islamic calligraphy and face painting workshops. A host of restaurants on the street, including Gupta’s, Chutney’s, Taste of India, Masala King and Ravi Shankar, will be getting in on the action by offering a set menu featuring some of their most popular dishes for just a tenner.
