Samsung Flip Park is the perfect place to hang, share, create and express yourself with the Galaxy Z Flip5
If nailing skateboarding tricks is one of your New Year’s resolutions for 2024, why not start a few weeks early by learning how to grind, flip and more at Samsung Flip Park this December. The immersive pop-up skatepark in Shoreditch, created in collaboration with Skateboard GB and inspired by the Galaxy Z Flip5 phone, is the perfect place to unleash your inner skateboarder. You can free skate in the park if you already know your ollies from your shove-its or you can drop in for free skateboarding lessons with Skateboard GB and Girl Skate UK.
It’s not just about getting on the board and practising kick turns though, Samsung Flip Park is also playing host to free events centred around fashion, music, photography and film too. You can watch Jonah Hill’s skate film Mid90s on the big screen at 7pm on 12th December, hear how Girl Skate UK is creating uplifting spaces for women and the LGBTQ+ community within skateboarding, catch Rinse FM DJs spinning tunes, and join a skate photography workshop with William Spooner. And don’t miss the chance to give the Flip Park a proper send off and enjoy live music at the closing party on Sat 16th Dec. The first 160 people to arrive at Samsung Flip Park for the DJ sets on Thursday and Friday will get one free drink and the first 160 to arrive on Saturday will get two free drinks.
There’s also a fully stocked bar at Flip Park, where you can refuel with cocktails, beers and mulled wine, and even get your selfies added to your coffee or Espresso Martini – which you can then snap and share again with a Galaxy Z Flip5. And everyone who enters the Flip Park will be in with a chance of scoring some fresh Samsung tech and merch with giveaways happening daily, how’s that for an early Christmas present?
