DRAUGHTS IS MOVING TO DALSTON

Board game cafe Draughts is on the move from its original Haggerston home but it’s not going far….ten minutes up Kingsland Road in fact. It’s taking over the epic old Shanghai space (wine bar Darling was originally supposed to moving in). Draughts 2.0 will be much bigger than the original, with the main room broken down into different areas, booths and a massive 1000+ games library stocked with family faves, retro classics and rare finds. The old office on the top floor is being turned into a private dining room, complete with some hidden features.

You won’t go hungry or thirsty playing all those games either as Draughts will have a full food menu and a well-stocked bar serving a rotating selection of beers, ciders and wines, plus themed cocktails like the gin & mint Fuji flush and the Cargo Noir espresso martini. And if you get down there on opening weekend you can bag 50% OFF your food bill too.

Hanging out in Dalston? These are all the places we love.
