While we’re all out ordering snazzy new winter coats, thousands of Londoners will be going cold this winter. So instead of just shoving your old winter coat to the back of the wardrobe to never see daylight again, donate it to Wrap Up London. The annual campaign donates all your old coats to charities supporting the homeless, elderly, refugees, children living in poverty and people fleeing domestic violence.

Normally the team collects donations from tube stations but this year it’s going to be done a bit differently to keep it covid-safe with collection points at the following places:

  • The Broadgate entrance to Liverpool Street Station (only on 11th, 12th, 18th & 19th November, 10.30am – 2pm)
  • Clothes For Causes, Greenwich
  • Safestore Self Storage branches in New Cross, St Johns Wood, Chelsea, Wimbledon, Chiswick, Kings Cross, Croydon, Notting Hill, Fulham, Wandsworth, Clapham, Camden Town, Bermondsey, Marble Arch and Holloway Road.

You can find all the drop-off spots on a map here too.
