While we’re all out shopping for new winter coats, thousands of Londoners will be going without this winter. So, instead of just shoving your old coat to the back of the wardrobe, never to see daylight again, donate it to WrapUp London. The annual campaign collects unwanted coats and passes them along to charities that support those experiencing homelessness, the elderly, refugees, children living in poverty and people fleeing domestic violence.
Got a coat you never use anymore in mind? It’s incredibly easy to get involved. From 2nd November, WrapUp will set up drop-off points at some of the city’s most popular tube stations, including Canary Wharf, Kings Cross, Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Moorgate and Waterloo. And there’ll be plenty of other collection points throughout the city, find your nearest one here.
