Donate Your Old Winter Coat to Charity

While we’re all out shopping for new winter coats, thousands of Londoners will be going without this winter. So, instead of just shoving your old coat to the back of the wardrobe, never to see daylight again, donate it to WrapUp London. The annual campaign collects unwanted coats and passes them along to charities that support those experiencing homelessness, the elderly, refugees, children living in poverty and people fleeing domestic violence.

Got a coat you never use anymore in mind? It’s incredibly easy to get involved. From 7th November – 3rd December, WrapUp will set up drop-off points at some of the city’s most popular tube stations, including Canary Wharf, Kings Cross, Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Moorgate and Waterloo to kick off this year’s collection campaign, and then there’ll be a host of other drop-off locations opening across the city for the remainder of the month – keep an eye out here to find your nearest one.
