Calling all you pretty things…House of Holland, Select Model Management and Cast and Elect have embarked on a musical mission and are secretly scouting for girls (and boys) at various gigs and shows to find a beautiful face to rep the fashion and music front row in 2015.
With the fashion and music worlds constantly colliding, they are on the hunt for a fresh face to make it in the biz and are seeking someone with charisma, plus personality who also reps the current musical trends that influence today’s millennial generation.
Designers and fashion brands are increasingly utilising the music business when promoting their wares, whether it be their models walking the catwalk to the White Stripes, to Rita Ora and Pharrell endorsing the Adidas Originals brand, to high profile DJs spinning sets at the fashion after parties so Select et al will be sending their Discovered by Music scouts to all of Jess Glynne’s (Select’s new face) UK gig dates and various other shows over the next 12 months to find future faces.
The project launched on 1 September and the overall competition winner will be announced on 5 February 2015. Winning the comp will reward you with a full fashion shoot and story to be featured in a leading print publication, some hot House of Holland styling, and the chance to win a potential modelling contract with Select.
