We’ve rounded up some of our favourite dishes from all the places we’ve eaten this month. The stand out bangers we’d happily go back and eat again and again…and again. If any tickle your fancy, you best get down and try them sharpish, just don’t blame us if the “daily changing menu” has already wiped ’em out!

Lee Westcott is heading up the kitchen at Elodie, the fine-dining restaurant inside the new Birch hotel in Selsdon, and he’s on fine form, turning out dishes like this Cornish crab, heritage tomato, green almond & chamomile.

There’s a lot to love about the menu at the Tamil Prince, but the paneer butter masala is a classic. The dish’s rich, creamy sauce is made even more indulgent with the help of buttery paratha and the Prince’s coconut pilau rice.

Finally visited Planque in Haggerston and had this little naughty number with Jamon Iberico on top of a mushroom tartine. A pleasant surprise for someone who avoids mushrooms.

The super rich British wagyu carpaccio with beef fat chips, which is served as a starter at Dovetale, the new spot from Tom Sellers in the 1 Hotel Mayfair. You grab a chip and roll the meat around it. Beautiful new spot in Mayfair.
