is the first in our new bi-monthly feature Dine Another Day where we will pick one dish or drink that we’d like to eat another day. Dine Another Day – you g’ed it? It could be somewhere we’ve reviewed or just something we’ve eaten or drank along the way which was so great we wanted to share the love…

BREAKFAST

Last month we popped into Gail’s Kitchen located in the Myhotel in Bloomsbury, it’s the first restaurant from the popular Gail’s bakery group. We had the breakfast pizza which was a thick doughy base topped with spinach, feta and egg. A great hangover breakfast, it’s tasty stodge minus the grease.

BRUNCH

We must eat Turkish Eggs at Kopapa in Covent Garden at least once a month, in fact they make up one of our Top 5 London brunch spots. For those who don’t know the dish is from sister restaurant Changa in Instanbul and is made up of 2 poached eggs, whipped yoghurt, hot chilli butter and flat bread. Dreamy!

LUNCH

Bond & Brook is located within Fenwicks department store and lets face it department store cafes can be grim. This definitely is not and the Bond & Brook signature mackerel salad makes for a healthy, delicious lunch. Oh and not sure if we mentioned the free smarties with coffee?

DINNER

Back in the depths of January we discovered Mele e Pere an Italian restaurant in the heart of Soho and it’s fair to say we were impressed. A main of roasted wild duck with braised savoy cabbage and cherry puree was a well thought out and perfectly put together. Full marks to the chef!

DRINK

This month we’ve been high rolling, sipping on the Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte Palmes d’Or Rosé 2005 vintage. That’s right we said vintage. The champers was created 25 years ago by Mr Nicolas Feuillatte, as a tribute to an opera diva he once met in New York. It’s light, refreshing and with V Day on the horizon you should be treating your loved ones. Who doesn’t like Vintage champagne – seriously? Now top us up darling!
