The best-selling manga series Death Note is now a musical – and it’s coming to London. After successful productions in Japan and Korea, Death Note the Musical made its English language debut at The London Palladium in August with a very short run of only two days. But, if you missed that, you’ll have another chance to see the show this September as it’ll be on at the Lyric Theatre. The story follows Light Yagami as he comes across a notebook owned by Ryuk, a mythological god of death. He discovers that he can kill anyone by writing their names in the book and uses it to bring justice to the nation’s most wanted criminals. Before long, a detective known only as ‘L’ is tracking him down. The musical will be at the Lyric for four days this September, so if you wanna catch it this time, grab some tickets while you can.
