Immersive experience concept DARKFIELD, which uses darkness and 360-degree binaural sound to create its shows, is back with new production EULOGY. Launching as part of the Immersive Art and XR Programme at BFI London Film Festival, EULOGY will take place in a shipping container on the South Bank. Through binaural sound and speech recognition technology, audience members will be immersed into a dreamlike hotel and taken through rooms and corridors and into a lift that transports them between floors and draws them deeper into the dream. It’s meant to make you think about the differences between an embodied experience and an imagined one and it sounds pretty trippy to us.
