Club NVRLND sold out every performance at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, and from 14th November it moves into The Vaults in Waterloo for a run through to the end of January. The premise is Peter Pan rebuilt as an underground nightclub, where runaway bride Wendy Darling stumbles back into Peter’s world and is offered the chance to rewrite her story. The soundtrack is 2000s anthems from Britney Spears, Rihanna, P!nk, Outkast and Coldplay, and you spend the night on the dancefloor rather than in a seat. It comes from director Steven Kunis and Olivier winner Jack Holden, who wrote the book.
The show runs about 100 minutes, but the club opens beforehand and stays open after the curtain, so plan for a late one. It’s 16+, and The Vaults, with its tunnels under the station, is about as fitting a home as this kind of show gets. Tickets start at £30.
