Art, Art…it is everywhere. Well not everywhere, we’ve learned that some of it is hidden away and kept in crates. Who said that? Damien Hirst actually! Which is why it’s so exciting that his ‘personal’ art collection is now on display for all to see. Featuring many of Hirst’s favourite collectables including Banksy, Francis Bacon and Jeff Koons, the collection is over 2000 pieces strong.

Not one for conventions either, Hirst has also built a WHOLE gallery to house his collection. Made up of three renovated Victorian structures and two modern, the Newport Street Gallery is ridiculously HUGE at 37,000 sq ft and 11m high…worth a visit for that alone. But if that wasn’t good enough, along with the permanent collection the space will also host a number of temporary exhibitions too, how sexy.
