STÜCK comes from the team behind Klub Verboten and Playbody Studio
STÜCK has been conceived as a space for people to gather between work, home and the club, and is somewhere that people in the queer and kink scenes can gather in a softer, sober, daytime environment.
Taking design cues from Roman bathhouses, the Dalston space uses architecture as a tool to encourage human connection and intimacy. Concrete and aluminium sit alongside rubber, leather and latex finishes, with saddle seating, modular furniture and a conversation pit designed for gatherings.
There’s a co-working space and cafe inside STÜCK that’s open to all Monday – Wednesday, with the rest of the venue accessible to members and their guests. STÜCK runs a cultural programme too, including house parties, workshops on consent and connection, clothes shows, and more, and the team also has plans to add a communal sauna to the building too, which you can help with by supporting their crowdfunder here.
With Roses of Elagabalus just over the other side of Kingsland Road, this corner of Dalston is becoming home to some of the most interesting queer spaces in town.
