Taking place across East London, CUT Festival is bringing barbers, artists and activists together to celebrate the art of barbering. As well as a free exhibition featuring works from Hick Duarte, Cary Kwok and Jamie Lewis Hadley, the programme also includes talks, barbershop takeovers, previews of Inua Ellams’ play The Barbershop Chronicles and of course plenty of haircuts. Barber Mark Bustos will even be offering free haircuts for the homeless community of the area. So if you want to learn about the culture and history behind your trim, check out CUT.
