The Dinner Ladies are back with another edition of The Wasted Supper, a chance for Londoners to repurpose their disused food and clothes – and get a good meal out of it too. Guests will be asked to bring along any surplus food they might have sat at the back of their fridge, which the Dinner Ladies chefs will then cook up into a shared veggie feast. You’ll get to see all the action too, taking home some valuable tips on how to use ingredients in innovative ways that reduce food waste. You’ll also be invited to bring your pre-loved clothes for a clothes swap, so you might leave with a few new pieces for your wardrobe. Any leftovers from the dinner will be donated to City Harvest which redistributes surplus food across the UK and there’ll be a large live art installation by Nia Beynon and botanical cocktails to enjoy.
