The award-winning British Afghan smokehouse Cue Point has been in the kitchen at Orbit’s taproom in Walworth since December, and now they’re setting up a special V-Day dinner. Cue Point owners Mursal Saiq and Joshua Moroney blend British classics with Afghan flavours to create their menu of smoked meats and vegan BBQ dishes which has previously appeared at the likes of Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park and the Taste of London food festival.
For one night only, they’ll serve up a three-course meal including the likes of sourdough stuffed with melted cheese and jalapeño jam; beef rib to share, served with roasted carrots, cabbage and dauphinoise; and crème brûlée with shortbread biscuit. The menu is priced at £35 per person, or you can opt for the vegan menu at £30. Plus, for an extra £15, you can get an Orbit beer pairing for each course.
