The Crisis Record Fair Is Back in Peckham

The Crisis record fair is back in south London for a fourth year and this time it’s got a new home at Jumbi in Peckham. The venue may be different but the aim is the same – to raise money for Crisis by selling a load of records. There’ll be stacks of new and second-hand vinyl across a range of genres to dig through, including some fresh unopened records from some of your fave labels like Erased Tapes, Wah Wah 45s, Dynamite Cuts, Fire Records, Japan Blues, Rupture London, Coyote Records and Jazz Room Records.

During the day DJs, including Rude Audio, Tea, Kaya M, and Gordon and Gill Wedderburn, will be spinning everything from dub and reggae to soul and jazz in collaboration with Voices Radio. And if you wanna keep on going after the fair has finished, there’s an after party at Tola from 10pm – 4am, where Avs, ARLYSS, Voices resident Amelia Street, and Voices co-founder Kit Lockey will all be playing. You can get tickets for that here.

All proceeds from the record fair and the fundraiser after party will go directly to Crisis to aid its work in supporting people experiencing homelessness, so there’s even more reason to swing by, do a bit of crate-digging and go for a dance.
