Four kids, three bakeries, hundreds of orders and somehow they make it work…
Nermin and Ali started Ta’mini Lebanese Bakery during lockdown as a way to support their growing family, and after opening their first bakery in Fulham Road, they’ve now built a big community around all three of their sites.
The pair were the first to bring Lebanese street bread ka’ak to the city, and this remains one of the signature menu items, alongside manakish (toppings include za’atar, spinach, akkawi cheese, beef & lamb kafta, halwa, and kishk), falafel, date bread, fatayer, mammul cookies and kunafa.
As well as freshly-made sandwiches and wraps, Ta’mini also stocks cold deli items, including tabbouleh, fattoush, hummus, and labneh. All three bakeries serve a brekkie menu too, where you get a spread of breads, eggs, labneh, ollives and halloumi. It’s a real taste of Lebanon right here in London.
