If you missed the chance to experience critically-acclaimed immersive production The Encounter, from Simon McBurney’s theatre company Complicité, in person, you can now do it online as the show, filmed at the Barbican, is being streamed for a week. The immersive one-man show, which traces the story of Loren McIntyre who got lost in the Amazon and tackles the nature of human consciousness, was structured around innovative sound design, so you’ll need to break out your best headphones for this one.
