It’s that time of year where Sundays are actually sun days and what better way to spent a few lazy summer hours than at one of London’s best day festivals? Community Festival 2019 was nothing short of a celebration of live indie sans the smelly camping vibes (yes, we know it’s part of festivals but sometimes it is nice to feel clean too).
With performances from The Kooks, Kate Nash (spotted shortly after her set taking selfies and having chats with festival goers) and Sea Girls but to name a few, Community was the perfect mash-up of the cosiness of a day festival with the production of a much bigger affair.
No one was falling apart messy or having a bad time and the whole general atmosphere was positively wholesome. Highlights included The Amazons, Blossoms and of course, the excuse to fecklessly spend your money on street food and booze. And all only a tube away!
