COLOURS TO OPEN IN HOXTON

The team behind Queen of Hoxton and The Book Club are adding another East London venue to the fam with Colours, opening on Hoxton Square on Friday 13th September. As you’d expect from a venue with the name Colours, it’s gonna look lit inside thanks to an LED installation called the Colour Trap and exclusive holographic artwork from Fred Butler, who’ll also be teaching monthly Spectral Floetry yoga class on Saturdays.

The multi-arts space will host regular gigs and club nights, programmed in collaboration with EartH and Village Underground – the likes of Mae Muller, Syd B, Kaleem Taylor, Olivia Nelson, RuthAnne, Myss Keta, Ekkah & Scarypoolparty are all scheduled to play live, with Hungama, Pussy Palace, Naturalia, Lord of the Tings and New Age all hosting nights. Jamz Supernova will be playing on the first New Age night and there’ll be a pop-up gospel chorus in the house too. You can book tickets for all shows and events here.

SuperCulture will be in charge of the cultural programme, with events ranging from neon life drawing to hip hop yoga with Gyal Flex to queer experimental cinema to after-school clubs with creative networking app Daisie. Orange Buffalo will be in the kitchen slinging wings, chicken sandwiches and plant-based burgers, and you can get 50% OFF food and drink on the opening Friday and Saturday…as if you needed an excuse to go.
