Axe throwing, curling, crazy golf, interactive go-karting, the Crystal Maze….there are a lot of mad activities you can do in London and now the quintessential countryside pastime of clay pigeon shooting is coming to the City, so you can have a go without having to spend hours getting out of town or wearing a tweed jacket. Clays, opening in Moorgate, is an virtual indoor clay pigeon shooting experience – you can’t have actual clay pigeons being flung around and shot at with real shotguns inside – but it does have huge 4K screens and state-of-the art tech so you still have to be accurate with your aim.
You can take shots of a different kind with spirits, cocktails and wines on the drinks list, and there’s food in the shape of loaded breads and small plates like sweetcorn ribs, Cornish whitebait, and chicken sliders to keep you well fuelled for your target practice.
