may be nearly over, but the festivals are still in swing, especially in Hackney! Clapton will be hosting a FREE all day festival on the 28th of September, full of food, drink and live entertainment. The festival will be located in the gardens of St John at hackney and entertainment kicks off at 11am.

Catering for the little young tearaways too there will be activities to occupy their devious little minds and food for all from Hackney’s street food vendors such as Bel and Brisket, Healthy Yummies and Love Smile Jerk. Bronze Medallists, Lovers Electric and Samantha Whates will play live, there’s vintage clothing stalls and Hackneys children’s theatre is transporting to the festival. If you’re a beer-lover then you’re in for a treat as Five Point Brewery will be presenting a “mini beer festival”, showcasing a selection of Hackney micro breweries.

From 6pm onwards the festival shifts to the historic St John church for live DJ sets from Jett (who has released music on Fat Boy Slims Southern Fried Records), as well as local DJ, Dan Sylvester. The night event will cost £4.00 and tickets can be purchased from here, tickets will also be available on the door. FEST-I-VAL BABY!!
