City-Wide Art Festival Condo Is Back in London

It’s the first edition of Condo in the capital since the pandemic

Art fans, your January is about to get a whole lot brighter as art festival Condo is back in London for the first time since 2020. The premise of the festival, which has also run in Shanghai, New York, Mexico City and Sao Paulo since 2016, is simple: art spaces in the host city welcome galleries from around the world for a series of collaborative exhibitions, giving a platform for emerging international artists and experimental shows.

This year there are 50 galleries coming to 23 London spaces, including The Breeder from Athens and Glasgow’s Kendall Koppe at The Sunday Painter in Nine Elms; Tokyo’s Kayokoyuki at Sadie Coles HQ in Soho; Lomex from NYC at Ginny on Frederick in Farringdon; Beirut’s Marfa’ Projects at The Approach in Bethnal Green; and Berlin’s Galerie Neu at Shoreditch’s Emalin.

All the galleries are open from 12pm – 6pm across both days of the preview weekend but the fair itself runs until 17th February (with each space running its own hours of operation) so you’ve got plenty of time to get round to them all.
