There’sa new festival in town over in Victoria Park, brought to you by the people behind Wilderness Festival and Superfly celebrating the pleasures of a summer Sunday afternoon in a one-day spectacular that is Citadel, a mirror to a city. Combining food, music, arts and culture experiences Citadel looks hotter than August with like likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Ben Howard and Kurt Vile & The Violators hitting the big stages and Too Mnay DJ’s and James Murphy manning the decks.
Then you’ve got Feasts from Hawksmoor’s Richard Turner, talks and debates from the Sunday Papers Live, comedy, fashion boutiques, a Rock ‘N Roller Disco from Cherry Cola, mass yoga and therapies, endless amount of top street food action, craft beer, cocktails and even a bloody Sports Day. Don’t be a bore and just sit in the park after your roast…go and play in Citadel instead.
Check out the Citadel site to sign up for special activities.
