CIRQUE DU SOIR

Cirque Du Soir London has a new home. The club which opened in 2009 has upped performers and moved to a new location on Ganton Street in Soho. Last week we headed along to the press launch to sample some cocktails whilst soaking up some “entertainment”.

have to admit we walked past the entrance twice before we figured which door it was. The venue has no signage or door number just a big black wooden door usually manned by a bouncer. The club counts A listers such as Lady Gaga, Scarlett Johansson, Leonardo DiCaprio and Princess Eugene as regulars and its easy to see why.

Once you make it down the Alice in Wonderland staircase you enter the main arena complete with two window displays filled with scantily clad models, two stages, a popcorn maker, candy floss machine, tarot card reader and many more weird and wonderful features.

 

With live performances from a mind-boggling cast of performers, including stilt walkers, midgets,contortionists, tattooed dancers, freak shows, burlesque dancers, sword swallowers, magicians and fire eaters, Cirque Du Soir is quite the show! We were treated to girls wearing nipple tassles dancing in a paddling pool, a giant scary looking pimp kind of character and a girl rubbing fire down her arms.

Cocktail wise the bar has a host of mixologists on hand and a chef knocking up dishes like zebra and crocodile. A night at Cirque Du Soir is one you will remember, that’s for sure!
